This Privacy Policy regulates the processing of your personal data by the controller “Philosophical Paths” with registered office at 3 Propontidos, 10444 Athens, Greece and registered in the General Commercial Register under the number 180286003000. 1.1 Philosophical Paths, through this Privacy Policy, also complies with the European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data.
1.2 The controller of your personal data is “Philosophical Paths”. A declaration has been submitted to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority regarding the processing of your personal data.
1.3 This Privacy Policy applies to all platforms and channels used by “Philosophical Paths” for the collection of personal data – corporate website, forms to be filled in, emails, etc. – including the websites of other projects owned and managed by “Philosophical Paths”. .

- “Philosophical Paths” sometimes processes public data, e.g. data subject to a publication obligation or data that you yourself have made public, such as information posted on your website or data shared in your area or published in the press.
Article 4 – Purposes of processing
4.1. General objectives:
“Philosophical Paths” will use the personal data collected exclusively for the following purposes:
- IP address (see article 2.1.): for the care and improvement of its website (www…………………….com) and the inclusion of personal data in anonymous statistical data, from which the identity of specific persons or companies cannot be discovered, on the legal basis of the legitimate interests of “Philosophical Paths” for the continuous improvement of its website and the provision of services,
- Email address, first and last name, when registering for newsletters (see article 2.2.): for the purpose of sending you special direct marketing (automatic emails or other emails), company and project newsletters, job vacancies, training opportunities or information on planned activities (tours, seminars), on the legal basis of your prior explicit consent,
- Email address, first name, surname, last name, telephone number, address, date of birth, consent to use photos and videos (see article 2.3.): in order to record your presence and participation in the event for reporting purposes (e.g. in the context of EU-funded projects where a number of direct beneficiaries are foreseen), on the legal basis of your prior explicit consent,
- Photos and videos (see article 2.3): to be used for internal communication, promotion and reporting purposes, on the legal basis of your prior explicit consent,
- You are not obliged to provide your personal data, but you understand that the provision of certain services becomes impossible if you refuse processing.
4.2. Direct marketing (newsletters and emails):
- Personal data will also be used for direct marketing (sending newsletters and emails with content that directly or indirectly promotes our activities). The personal data you provide will require additional explicit consent which we will ask for. If you are already subscribed to our mailing list to receive marketing material in electronic form, Philosophical Pathways may use your data to send you marketing material about Philosophical Pathways and its activities. This consent can be withdrawn at any time – free of charge and without obligation to give reasons – by contacting by e-mail at ……………………..
4.3. Transfer to third parties:
- “Philosophical Paths” will never transmit your personal data to third parties, with the exception of technical service providers who undertake technical support to the extent that this is necessary for the technical provision of services and/or if they are obliged to do so by law or court order. Philosophical Pathways makes reasonable efforts to inform you in advance of the fact that Philosophical Pathways discloses your data to named third parties, but you also acknowledge that this is not technically or commercially feasible under all circumstances.
- Philosophical Paths will not sell, rent, share or otherwise commercially dispose of your personal data to third parties, except as described above or without your prior consent.

Article 6 – Your rights
- 1 Right of access and inspection: You have the right – at any time, free of charge – to be informed of your personal data and of the use that “Philosophical Paths” makes your personal data.
- 2. Right to rectification, deletion and restriction: You are free to disclose or not your personal data to “Philosophical Paths”. In addition, you always have the right to ask us to correct, supplement or delete your personal data. You acknowledge that if you refuse to disclose or request deletion of personal data, certain services and products may not be provided. You may also request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- 3 Right of objection: You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on serious and legitimate grounds. In addition, you always have the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes; in this case, you do not need to give any reasons.

The “Philosophical Paths” has ensured that when it calls upon third parties to process personal data, such third parties are bound by the same rules.

8.1 In order to enable the processing of your personal data, we may provide access to your personal data to certain members and/or employees who are assigned to specific tasks/activities.
