Overview
Embark on a unique journey of thought and history with our philosophical walk in the heart of ancient Athens. Our route begins at the Ancient Agora, the vibrant center of Athenian democracy. There we will explore how direct democracy developed, what its connection was with philosophy, and we will compare the values of yesterday with the challenges of today.
Next, we will visit Plato’s Academy, where the great philosopher founded his school. In this historic space, we will discuss the originality of his thought, his life and his philosophical system. We will delve into his ideas on knowledge, the soul and the state, understanding how his views influenced the formation of Western civilization.
Our journey concludes at Aristotle’s Lyceum, where we will learn about his life and work. In the place where he recorded his ideas about man, nature, society, ethics and politics, we will discover how his thought determined the course of humanity.
This walk is a unique experience that combines historical exploration with philosophical exploration, illuminating the legacy of two of the most important thinkers of antiquity.
